Slappy Cakes

Eastwood Mall, Libis, Quezon City

Buttermilk Pancake with Nutella and Pure Honey
P350 (P75 for Nutella; P50 for Pure Honey)

The best pancakes I’ve ever had! No need for the extra honey, though since there is free syrup. There are also a lot of choices in the pancake batter, as well as the toppings and kinds of syrups.

Cooking pancakes makes this a worthwhile experience.

Toad in a Hole
P240

Actually makes you full because there are a lot of potato cuts. Nothing special. Bacon and eggs (in sourdough) are always good anyway.

PROS

When did you ever hear of a restaurant that lets you cook your own pancakes?

The place is good for family dinners or dinner with friends. The experience makes it a whole lot entertaining.

The syrup is free.

CONS

Cooking pancakes in a restaurant is a nice experience. So, you have to pay a lot for it.

8-ounces of pancake mix (the size of one order) may not be enough for one person. You’d have to order a side to go with that. Of course, that comes with payment too.

The other dishes seem not too special. It’s all about the pancakes!
